The clients came with a vague idea of what they wanted. We discussed options and after looking at some photos of my work Isabella decided she loved cognac diamonds and a wide chunky band, with a random organic. shape David settled on a wide band to compliment Isabella’s ring.  They both knew they wanted white gold.

Detail:

The Client had their own diamonds, but wanted a variation on the traditional engagement ring.  They really liked the idea of something raw and ancient looking.  The rings were hand made and then hammered and matted to give that raw finish.

Detail:

The client was really keen on a large Square Amethyst dress ring. She liked the idea of a modern take on a deco style ring. Amethysts stones are not commercially available in the size she wanted with the emerald style cut she wanted.  I bought a square cut stone and had the corners cut and faceted to her specification. The Amethyst is flanked by 2 white topaz square cut stones

The clients had commissioned me to make the engagement ring and when it became time t make the matching wedding ring we caved a wax to fit exactly up against the engagement ring, which was them cast into 18ct yellow gold to create a matching set.
